Aida Nelson
I hold a degree in Translations and Interpreting Studies from the Technical University of Cologne, Germany. I consider myself to be a “doctor at heart”. I have achieved and maintain an advanced degree in medical and legal translations and a life-long passion for medicine. I have acquired decades of experience in assisting courts, police, lawyers, diplomats and manufacturing companies throughout the EU. My international background has served as a foundation for our company. I am trilingual, Spanish being my mother tongue, and I consider German and English also to be my native languages.
Ellen Carter
I am a native English speaker and studying for my final year of a medical degree at the University of Liverpool. I mainly translate and proofread medical translations from French, German, Italian and Spanish into British English. I translate regularly clinical trial protocols, discharge letters, death certificates , operation reports, medical device handbooks, patient guidelines, etc. I am interested in emergency medicine and in gastroenterology. I have spent many holidays in France, and love learning about the French culture. I am also interested in design.
Glenys Bridge
I was born in the UK and have lived in the same town in the North West of England all my life. I studied English and German at A level before beginning a career as a secretary which I enjoyed for many years working for a variety of managers. Looking for a change in direction, I became a Communications Officer with responsibility for producing leaflets and news articles alongside producing and delivering presentations to colleagues, volunteers and various members of the public on the welfare programme which I represented. I love to read books, particularly crime novels and biographies. I also enjoy a variety of crafts including knitting, crocheting and card-making.
François Mathon
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages Applied to Business (English and Portuguese) from the University of Lille and I am halfway through my master’s degree in International Business and Negotiation. French is my mother tongue and I translate from English and Portuguese into French. I have a strong interest in marketing, international business and politics and I enjoy translations because I can combine my knowledge of the languages with my favourite fields. I am hard working, organised, serious, punctual, and efficient in my work.
