Doctors of the World

During this unprecedented time in history, we volunteered our services to Doctors of the World, translating their NHS Guidelines on Coronavirus (Covid-19) from English to 30 different languages. We are proud of the quick and accurate execution of this vital project.

The Argentine cardiologist who proofread the Spanish translation said:

"If I can help the government and an important organisation such as Doctors of the World to save money with my pro bono work and then they can instead use that money to acquire more ventilators, I am really pleased and at peace with myself in this worldwide crisis"

A team of four professional translators created the Simplified Chinese translation with oversight by a Chinese colleague in South Africa and double proofread by a dermatologist in China.

Our Ethiopian colleague who completed the Amharic translation said: "This translation is for my people, I cannot let them down! I will do this translation without charge."

The Coronavirus (Covid-19) Guidelines also contains very important legal information for refugees. This particular paragraph was looked closely by our legal expert and translated in a simple and understandable way in order for refugees to understand the important instructions from the government.

These collaborations not only highlight the vast network of professionals with whom we collaborate but the high standards to which we hold ourselves and our company's core values.

The pictures above are from some of our volunteers. Some colleagues are not in included in the pictures but we would like to mention: Dr. Maria Patricia Arce, Dr. Babita Bhetwal, Krishna Khakurel, Dr. Fubin Che, Shirley Lao, Pengyuan Zhao, Mrs. Laurence Auffret, Retno Damajanti, Kristine Peltz, Sibi Kasim, Medhanie Ghebremariam, Babelos Languages, Biollandica, Marieke Schouvens.

We will be delighted to work with you!
